The beauty of the skin and your weight – Health is beauty, it is very important, especially if we are talking about the largest organ of the human body. The body’s largest organ is the skin, and to be healthy, you need to be very knowledgeable about how to wash it and what kind of products to use to keep it hydrated and prevent it from becoming too visible over the years… In order to benefit from beautiful and healthy skin, the diet must contain many vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water. Many people do not believe that those extra pounds or kilos you can have are responsible for the appearance of the skin.

A study by researchers from the Department of Dermatology of the Federal University Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre in Brazil, analyzed 75 obese people and their dermatological problems and compared them with 74 people of normal weight. All of these people have been tested for glucose, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

As the specialists say, these skin problems are very closely linked to obesity, after analyzing the data. The skin is severely damaged due to excess weight. Because of obesity: stretch marks, plantar hyperkeratosis or thickening of the skin of the legs with the formation of gloves and cracks, elongated warts (acrochordons), inflammation or dermatitis in the areas between folds (intertrigo), darkening. of the skin, inflammation due to abnormalities of the lymphatic circulation and infections caused by bacteria.

There are certain areas of the body that are subjected to higher friction and humidity, such as: in the folds of the abdomen, in English and in the armpit, which is why the skin suffers when it is overweight. Because of this during the hot season and in a tropical climate, mushrooms can occur due to sweating.

One of the most important findings made by researchers is that insulin resistance and triglycerides in the blood are related to the appearance of elongated warts or acrochordons on the skin. Warts appear much faster in overweight people, which is why doctors recommend their patients lose weight.

This study was made especially for obese people who want to take better care of their skin. Obesity will cause the body to suffer from several diseases and these are symptoms of endocrine problems that require special attention.

In conclusion, if you are concerned about the appearance of the skin, consult a dermatologist, and if you are overweight, weight loss will be the main factor in improving the health of the whole body.
